This mid-sized， short bent wood carving tool， from Japan， is manufactured by Michihamono. Made with quality Blue Paper Steel (Aogami) No.2， that is added with tungsten for increased durability， and chromium to make it corrosion resistant， making this tool's sharpness last for a long time. Connected to the blade is a long and smooth handle made from Japanese cypress， that gives you a nice grip， and control when carving. Reach for this tool when there is a small， enclosed section of the wood that is needed to be leveled and smooth out like in the backgrounds of relief carving. Carve wood in different widths by buying this tool together with other sizes. Available in 15mm， 7.5mm， and 1.5mm (sold separately).
